Investment Analyst, HCMC office
This full-time position will report to the Head of Investment Manager and will receive steep learning curve as well as direct mentorship opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct macroeconomic and sector research, preparation of investment proposals
- Perform deep dive research and financial modelling on companies
- Collate data to garner a qualitative and quantitative opinion for determining the risk-reward aspect of the investment decision
- Conducting due diligence on varied investment opportunities, companies and funds by researching, reading financial statements and market data
- Keeping up to date with market developments, new investment products and all other areas that can affect the markets
- Participate in full life cycle of deals / projects
- Reviewing asset management reports on the performance of each investment
- Prepare presentation for investment approval process and draft investment report
- Assist in any ad-hoc responsibilities
Requirements
- Degree in accounting, economics, finance, MBA or equivalent
- 3-5 years of working experience in a similar capacity
- Possess initiative, resourceful and strong attention to detail
- Strong in fundamental and technical analytical knowledge
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills to include financial modelling, financial statement analysis and valuation analysis.
- Must be strong in computer skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word, lacking proficiency in MS are strictly advised to refrain from applying
- Analytical, meticulous, results-oriented with a positive learning attitude
- Relationship management skills with ability to manage expectations
- Strong team player to assist in maintaining a network of potential clients
- Possess excellent written and spoken communication skills in English

Office Manager and Personal Assistant, HCMC office
This full-time position will be a hybrid between office management of our HCMC office and personal assistant to the CEO. Reporting to the Chief Investment Officer directly, you will receive steep learning curve as well as direct mentorship opportunities. You will be required to handle full sets of accounts, month-end closing, financial reporting, budgeting, assist in accounting and audits schedule and work on other book keeping and ad-hoc duties. You will be given the opportunity to participate in investments/finance projects. In addition, you are responsible to assist our CEO in his personal and professional tasks.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for routine office tasks, book keeping, documentation, public relationships
- HR including recruitment, payroll, work passes and insurance claims etc.
- Assist CEO for work and personal related issues
- Full spectrum of accounts, including monthly/quarterly close activities, accurate and timely completion of statutory returns
- Liaise with bankers, lawyers, tax agents, local CAP firm and auditors for annual audit and prepare tax schedule for IRAS submission
- Preparing revenue reports and reviewing the work of local CPA firm for local tax filings (i.e. VAT, Annual Audit, Tax verification)
- Conduct compilation of information for the company’s annual tax returns
- Filing with annul declarations and other official filings
- Prepare presentation for investment approval process and draft investment report
- Research investment opportunities and edit reports and research documents
Requirements
- Degree in accounting, economics, finance, MBA or equivalent
- 1-3 years of working experience in a similar capacity
- Possess initiative, resourceful and strong attention to detail
- Good English communication, strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word, accounting software
- Analytical, meticulous, results-oriented with a positive learning attitude
- knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations
- Experienced in social media and Photoshop preferred
